Time to Catch Everyone Up!

The new semester has so far been really fun! Sam lives with Rachel and Melissa now. They have three new roommates: Kailie (from Colorado), Chelsea (from Utah/Idaho) and Crikette (from Idaho/Utah). Yes that is her real name! It has been freezing everyday and snowing almost non-stop. Ashley comes and hangs with the girls a bunch. Kailie, the new roommate, has been adopted and corrupted by the three of us. There is a new "club" that opened up here called the Locus that we go dancing at on the weekends. Sam likes every boy still, nothing new there. Rachel is still planning on turning her papers in soon and is a Gospel Doctrine teacher in our ward. And Melissa has like 5 guys chasing her! Thats about it for now.

University Dance Battle

Saturday Night was University Dance Battle between BYU, BYU-I, ISU, and U of U. They were all really tight dancers all break dancing on the floor of the Jr. High. Between each crew's battle, they had people from the audience battle each other and our Melissa Bennett was called out and battle another girl in front of a crowd of at least 1500 people. She won cause she's pretty fly!

Groundbreaking or should we say face breaking?

So today, there was a juicy note on the ground while the three of us were on our way to the library. Sam bent down to try and pick it up. Well Sam is super smart (can you tell who's writing this?) and her brain was so heavy it made her fall forward and face plant onto the cement sidewalk. Everyone around saw and pretty much laughed really really hard. It was a glorious day!

ps. Rachel snorted really really loud today in the quiet library cause we said something kind of funny. We got alot of attention today. But not so much the good kind!

Weekend in Provo!

We had the awesome opportunity to come down to Provo to watch the BYU vs UNLV football game at the stadium!! It was way way fun!! Good thing BYU won! That night, Sam got invited to go to a bon-fire with Kyle Bond at Utah Lake. Well long story short, Kyle got his truck stuck in the mud, so Trent Steadman tried puling him out with his truck but there was not progress made. Down a ways, was another group of people having their own campfire. It consisted of two wasted men and two buzzed cops. (yes in Provo!!) Well they came to help us. One of the men got his truck and was able to loosen Kyle's mud-sunk truck. He decided to show of how tough he was and got his truck stuck also. So our help ended up getting stuck too (BOYS...sheeesh!) So then the other drunk man got his HUGE dodge and got out the second truck and the two of them split leaving us with Kyle's truck still swimming in the mud. By this time, Kyle is covered in mud from head-to-toe. Trent finally gets Kyle's truck unstuck. The three of us would have left earlier, but our car keys were in Kyle's truck and we had to park our car on a side road because there was a bit of off-roading to get to the fire. We finally got out of that place around 2:30 a.m. Talk about adventure!!

Babysitting on a Friday Night

Friday, we babysat Rachel's cousin's baby boy. Mason called the three of us mommy the whole night. He is a very very cute boy. He was our Friday night dates.

The Monday Music Outlets

Every Monday night, after FHE, we head over to the Kirkham Building at 9 pm. to listen to our peers play their songs they have written. We have two friends who sing about Chuck Norris, Falling In Love with Their New Adopted Sister, and a few other crazy songs. We are their "stinkies" or "groupies". They like us so much that they insist on coming over almost every night so we can feed them. But Riley and Chris are pretty cool kids.
